The inaugural season of the School Shooting Premier League (SSPL), India’s first-ever & biggest franchise-based school league, is set to redefine grassroots sports in the country. An initiative of the Eternal Sports Promotion Foundation (formerly known as the Rajendra Institute of Sports), SSPL aims to bring world-class shooting infrastructure, elite training, and Olympic-level exposure directly to school campuses. Featuring India’s brightest young talent competing in a professional league format, SSPL emerges as a landmark addition to the national sports landscape. With a mission aligned to NEP 2020 and also now Khelo Bharat New Sports Policy 2025, SSPL ensures that no promising shooter is left behind. This is where young India takes its first shot toward the Los Angeles 2028 Olympics and beyond.
This league is for the students. Our endeavour is to provide the right kind of platform for shooting promotion & talent to grow through the School Shooting Premier League (SSPL), where every team and partner is committed with long-term vision—building this sport in a sustained and structured manner across India, on the lines of the world’s most advanced & biggest leagues.
SSPL aims to give a new direction to Indian shooting by unearthing young talent, nurturing them with world-class exposure, and creating unmatched opportunities in terms of recognition, viewership, and corporate support from partners who believe in the future of this sport.
We believe the future Olympic champions of India are sitting in our classrooms today and SSPL exists to bring them into the spotlight, prepare them for the global stage, and change the narrative of shooting sport in our country forever.
This league belongs to the players, to their dreams, and to the future of Indian shooting.
